'Insidious'- My Review

Insidious was released in April 2011. This film is about a family who becomes haunted, they try to think of all the possible answers but they can’t find one then suddenly there son goes into a coma and the family nor doctors know what’s wrong him. Watch this family as you get thrown into a world of unexpected events, emotions and screams. This film will have you jumping and screaming in the cinema!
Personally I think that this film is going to be the thriller of the year, it will have you scared of sleeping!
The actors who played the parents of the little boy (Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne) were amazing, they stayed the same without the film and it felt like they were made for the part. The sibling Andrew Astor) little boy who was in the coma was very good and they played the part and it had you believing that the film was a true story and they weren’t just playing a character because they were very convincing.
The little boy Dalton Lambert (Ty Simpkins) was very good and very convincing, he didn’t falter once and no one else would have fit the part more than he did.
When I went to watch the film I went in the cinema and as I was watching it I noticed that no one had any complaints and they also thought that the film was amazing.
James Wan who was the director of ‘Saw’ and now he has just made another big blockbuster ‘insidious’ should be happy with himself, with the script writer-actor Leigh Whannell they can make lots more films that will be block busters like this one.
I personally recommend that everyone goes out and buys this on DVD because this film will make you jump, laugh, cry and at point you will be scared and confused. You should expect anything from the film and always expect the unexpected; at times you won’t understand what’s going on but that is part of the plot because this film is so amazing!

After watching this film tons of times I still would give this film a rating of 9/10 because this film will have you feeling lots of emotions, will have you screaming in the cinema and will have you wanting a sequel or to see it again. Again congratulations to James Wan for making another huge thriller film!
