Judd Trump vs Ali Carter

In the Snooker match between Judd Trump and Ali Carter things got head to head when Ali Carter came from behind and won the final match and won the round. Judd trump won the final frame of the session by leading 10-7. During the next session Carter wins a match and trails behind at 10-8. Trump then wins 11-8 as Carter then catches up 11-9 which then Trump takes the lead to 12-9. Carter then rapidly gets an 87 on a 147 attempt. He was still behind at 12-10. Carter then won the next match at 12-11. On winning 3 matches in a row Carter and Trump were then head to head at 12-12 and battled it out on the final round. Carter then surprisingly won from being 12-9 to 12-13!

At the end of the match during the interviews Ali Carter couldn’t wait to rub it in to the 22 year olds face and said “I'm delighted to get through. All credit to Judd. He pots them from everywhere, but there's more to this game than potting balls from everywhere as I've shown today."

After Trump had heard this he simply bit back saying that Carter was simply “Childish”

During the 23rd frame the 22 year old fluked a shot Carter sarcastically clapped for him. Again, Trump just replied simply by saying that “he is 30 years old and if he wants to act childish then it is up to him. I’m a lot younger than him and have done a lot better. So let’s just let the snooker do the talking”.

I would have expected this from football or more a ‘rough’ sport not a sport like snooker. I think that this could have been avoided. I would have expected Carters behaviour from Trump at still only being 22 years old and still quite young as Ali Carter is 32 years and a bit more experienced. This behaviour is quite immature but eh? Anything to liven it up a bit!

Personally, I was routing for Trump since last year as his game plan is less organised and flukier than the rest of the competitors which makes the game more interesting! Bad luck Judd Trump, better look next time!

Plan B ‘Ill Manor’ lecture.

I had to watch Plan B’s lecture about his new music video and about the riots and Looting. He was saying about how the people who started the riot were ‘Chavs’ and he thinks that the word ‘Chav’ has had its meaning changed and now he thinks it stands for “Council House And Violence”. He thinks that these people started the riots because they were fed up about being named under classed and undereducated. He also thinks that the society and media has started to make them believe that the businesses and that the ‘rich boys’ are more important. I agree with him in a way because the only time you ever see the word ‘Chav’ used is when a youth does something wrong and you never see them in a newspaper for doing something good because as Plan B explained is that it doesn’t go with the rest of the newspaper. Plan B also thinks that because the government is spending the Countries TAX on themselves and stuff we do rather than trying to get the youth away from bad idols and get the off the street and bored.

The people who only really talk about these kinds of things are Plan B and some other underground music artists. I think that the reason other people aren't talking about this subject is because that they are afraid of speaking there mind and most music artists haven’t seen this part of the world. I also think that people don’t talk about this is because if they speak the truth about then it will reflect badly on the government which could cause trouble. Underground music artists do talk about these kinds of things. They are the kind of people who think that ‘Chavs’ need to be given a better life and second chances. If music artists who do speak the truth and it reflect badly on the government then there music label can refuse to play it. As Plan B explained; it takes a lot to get money and sponsorship.

I think that ‘Ill Manors’ could have a positive and a negative effect. The reason I think that is because it could show people what is really happening and it could then lead to people making a difference to help people but then on the other hand it could have a negative affect because people who watch it could think it is the youth fault and that they do deserve to go to prison and it could make people stereotype ‘Chavs’ even more. The world blames a lot on them. You never read anything good about them in the newspaper. I think that lots of different class people listen to Plan B because even though he talks about the underclass people it doesn’t take a lot of bad influence to get ‘rich boys’ to act like them especially if they would want to seem ‘cool’ and to fit in. As Plan B said if you just “plant the seed” then the rest will follow.

PLAN B-ILL MANOR MUSIC VIDEO

I personally think that this song and film is a good idea. All respect to Plan B and all of the actors involved with this.

Mac Miller!

Malcolm McCormick is also known as Mac Miller; an American Rapper and on the 8th November 2011 he released a new CD called “Blue Slide Park”. Even though that this is Mac Millers first Studio album he has released other ‘Mixtapes’.

Miller’s other albums/mixtapes include “Best Day Ever”, “The High Life”, “I love Life, Thank You” “But my Mackin’ aint easy” “How High: The Mixtape” “The Jukebox: Prelude to Class Clown” The High Life” “K.I.D.S (Kickin’ Incredibly dope Sh**” and “Rare” but most people only know about him because of his songs “Knock Knock” “Best Day Ever” “High In Class Mixtape” and “Donald Trump”

Miller has also been on two tours with ‘Wiz Khalifa’ and been in lots of songs with him and they are always having a joke and always singing about weed and getting high.  Mac Miller and ‘Wiz Khalifa’ have also done a song with ‘Lil Wayne’ He has also appeared on Maroon 5’s album with Christina Aguilera on the song ‘Moves like Jagger’. He has also done a song with Drake called ‘Never Lie’

On Miller’s songs there not all useless because if you listen carefully, he speaks about his family life and he speaks the truth and what it is like to be on tour and he has a message in majority of his songs about where he wants to be and who his inspirations are; for instance: Donald Trump.  He also talks the truth and mentions his family and how much he loves them. Though being truthful he always reminisces of being back in high school playing sports, skipping and smoking weed, especially in his song ‘Senior Skip Day’.

People go around saying that Miller is over-rated and talks about nothing but if you listen closely he talks about friends, family, fans, life and school.

The whole point of writing this review is to make people more aware of Mac Miller; I know that he has a very large American fan base and a large British fan base but it isn’t as large as the American one which I think is wrong because Mac Miller is just amazing!

His lyrics are always amazing and he just plainly rocks! The creativity and the thought that has been put into his music just makes everyone stand back and say WOAH!

So really, the point of this article is to really make you aware so go out and buy/download his album! Just give him a try; I will guarantee you will love him!

We Are the in Crowd

‘We Are the in Crowd’ are an American pop band which consists of Taylor Jardine (main vocalist) Jordan Eckes (Guitar/Vocalists) Rob Chianelli (Drummer) Mike Ferri (Bass) Cameron Hurley (Guitar)

I started listening to them in 2009 when I came across there MySpace page but unfortunately they got hacked and all of their music was deleted though which I found disappointing.  Once ‘Hopeless Records’ had heard about this they got signed to them.
Then in 2010 they released ‘Guaranteed to Disagree’ then later released ‘Best Intentions’ in 2011.  I didn’t get both albums till Christmas of 2011 and now they both have been replayed non-stop.
The reason this band is so popular because they are amazing, Taylor has such an amazing voice and the whole band just works and you can see that they have gone far and will go so much further in the future.
So many people have compared this band ‘Paramore’ and they do have kind of the same format but they are both in two completely different leagues and they are both amazing bands

‘We Are the in Crowd’ are amazing because they are fresh and the videos are interesting. ‘Both Sides of the Story’ is such a good music video because it’s funny, random and colorful.  I also like ‘Never Be Want’ because it’s fun and interesting.
‘We Are the in Crowd’ are also going to tour with ‘All Time Low’ and ‘The Maine’ which I am jealous off because all 3 of these bands are amazing! ‘We Are the in Crowd’ are also supposed to be making an appearance at ‘Hit The Deck’ At Nottingham’s Rock City in April which everyone is looking forward to.
I personally cannot wait for their next album and I think that all you pop, rock and alternative indie fans should give a listen to these because they are amazing and are a 5* band! Everyone should go listen and go buy there CD because if all us UK fans work hard enough then maybe they’ll keep coming back!

2012:The forthcoming year!

2012 will be an explosive year and not just because it’s supposedly the end off the world.

The first explosive thing is definitely going to be ‘Connor Maynard’ and he is certainly going to make way for acoustic artists in the music industry. Connor Maynard is a 19 year old English singer who has had a lot of influences from RnB cover. The songs he is going to be well known is Rhianna-Only Girl In the World, Drake-Marvin’s Room and Kelly Rowland-Commander.  He also does a lot of collaborations with his friend and aspiring rapper Anthony Melo. The reason that this young male will be explosive in the music industry is because he brings a new fresh style to all these rap and RnB songs. Connor Maynard is the English Justin Bieber, he became famous through ‘YouTube’ and has a lot of potential. I think we should all watch out for his album. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBS0vL-H_kg  <His version of Drake-Marvin’s Room

Another explosive thing of 2012 will be the Drake Concert. This is the most exciting news that I have heard for a while. Everybody loves a bit of Drake and he can not do wrong. He is touring the UK in March.  His tour is called ‘Take Care’ and when he released the tour date everybody went into frenzy. We’re all looking forward too Drake’s many albums to come.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpRuWWIgx3s  <Drake ‘Take Care’ song

Another explosive thing for 2012 is when Arsenal re-signed Thierry Henry on loan for 2months. Then on 9th October 2012 Henry played his first match and in the 77th minute and on his 5th touch off the ball he scored. I think the next 2months for Arsenal will be very exciting and unforgettable. Good luck Arsenal! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BbxbAJtgJI  <Henry’s goal against Leeds

Another big thing of 2012 will be Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe’s new film ‘Women in Black’ not only is it a horror film he will also act his age in it. This new gripping horror film has got everyone wanting to go see it. I think that this will yet again be a very big year for the young man. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4D-87X3vVc  <Trailer to ‘Woman in Black’

The big concert/festival off the year for all you alternative rock lovers is the Nottingham’s rock city concert/festival in April. This is such a good bargain for £20.00 a ticket though I would hurry as it is first come first served basis and then into the actual even it is a one in and one out system! The line up consists of We Are The In Crowd, We Are Oceana, Wolves Like us and Yashin.http://www.hitthedeckfestival.com/  < The Actual website

Hold up! Not only do we have to wait for Fifa 13 with it’s new renovations and it’s up dates we have to also wait for the BRAND NEW Fifa Street! Now that is a game I am looking forward to buying. Forget about Fifa street 1,2&3 this is a whole new generation of Fifa. Release date of 7th March 2012!

Play station Vita is another big thing to look forwards too. Play station have spent so long trying to correct the PS3 that they didn’t even announce the new PSPV till the end of 2011 and now so many people want it we can not wait for it to be released. About time to!

To all us geeks out there and beyond we have the ultimate film coming out! ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ can you wait? I know I definitely can’t! AND we have to wait for the 20th July! But it will be one of the movie events of the year,  I think I can smell a blockbuster, can you?

Another thing for all us geeks is the comic book TV! 2011 was the year for the comic book movies and now thanks to FX all our favourite comic book heroes are coming to life. The one I can’t wait for has to be ‘The Hulk’ and ‘Iron Man’. What one are you waiting for?

Now again for all us geeks, ‘Dracula 3D’ is being later released in 2012 and I can tell you for sure that this is one movie event that I wont be missing. ‘Twilight’ wasn’t for me but I can say this horror/thriller will definitely be for me. I’m so looking forward to it I can’t wait. Can you?

So as you can probably tell i'm looking forward to this forthcoming year and by the looks of it so should you!

'Insidious'- My Review

Insidious was released in April 2011. This film is about a family who becomes haunted, they try to think of all the possible answers but they can’t find one then suddenly there son goes into a coma and the family nor doctors know what’s wrong him. Watch this family as you get thrown into a world of unexpected events, emotions and screams. This film will have you jumping and screaming in the cinema!
Personally I think that this film is going to be the thriller of the year, it will have you scared of sleeping!
The actors who played the parents of the little boy (Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne) were amazing, they stayed the same without the film and it felt like they were made for the part. The sibling Andrew Astor) little boy who was in the coma was very good and they played the part and it had you believing that the film was a true story and they weren’t just playing a character because they were very convincing.
The little boy Dalton Lambert (Ty Simpkins) was very good and very convincing, he didn’t falter once and no one else would have fit the part more than he did.
When I went to watch the film I went in the cinema and as I was watching it I noticed that no one had any complaints and they also thought that the film was amazing.
James Wan who was the director of ‘Saw’ and now he has just made another big blockbuster ‘insidious’ should be happy with himself, with the script writer-actor Leigh Whannell they can make lots more films that will be block busters like this one.
I personally recommend that everyone goes out and buys this on DVD because this film will make you jump, laugh, cry and at point you will be scared and confused. You should expect anything from the film and always expect the unexpected; at times you won’t understand what’s going on but that is part of the plot because this film is so amazing!

After watching this film tons of times I still would give this film a rating of 9/10 because this film will have you feeling lots of emotions, will have you screaming in the cinema and will have you wanting a sequel or to see it again. Again congratulations to James Wan for making another huge thriller film!
